Common Questions
Do I need a permit to remodel a kitchen in Marietta?
It depends on where the house is. Inside Marietta city limits, the city requires a permit for alterations to existing construction. Homes in the Kennesaw Avenue Historic District can also need a Certificate of Appropriateness. East Cobb addresses permit through Cobb County Community Development instead. We confirm the right office and handle the permit.
Can you take out the wall between the kitchen and dining room?
Often, yes. It depends on whether the wall is load-bearing and what runs through it. We check at the walkthrough and include any framing, electrical and permit work in the plan.
Do you take projects in East Cobb?
Yes. East Cobb is part of our Marietta and Cobb County service area.
