Porcelain, ceramic and natural stone such as marble or travertine all work for a tub
surround. Large-format tile means fewer grout lines; subway and patterned layouts suit a more
traditional room. A recessed niche keeps bottles off the tub ledge. When the old surround comes
out, we check the wall behind it before anything new goes up. We would rather fix a soft spot now
than tile over it.

comes out as one unit, so it gets a new tub and tile walls. We tell you which
you have at the consultation.
Can you move the plumbing for a freestanding tub?
Yes. We can move plumbing to
suit a new tub location, and that is part of the scope we price.
Can you replace the floor at the same time?
Yes. We can install a new tile
floor to match the new tub and surround.
